The new MX-5200 Series of Soldering Systems from Metcal offers the same increased productivity and process controls as the old MX-5000, now with dual simultaneous ports. The MX-5200 systems can be operated with two handpieces at the same time dynamically sharing the 80 Watts output power based on demand adding even more application flexibility and speed.

MX-5210 Soldering & Rework System: Configured with the Advanced Soldering Handpiece. Ideal for applications including lead-free, high mass components/boards, high volume production soldering, thermally sensitive components requiring low temperature and touch-up soldering operations.

MX-5211 Soldering & Rework System: Same features as the MX-5210 (above), but with two Advanced Soldering Handpieces and two TipSaver Workstands.

MX-5220 Ultra-Fine Soldering & Rework System: Configured with the Ultrafine Soldering Handpiece, which is a specialty tool for soldering and touch-up of very small components, restricted access or high density component packaging on a PCB.

MX-5241 Precision Tweezers Soldering & Rework System: Combines both the Advanced Soldering Handpiece and the Precision Tweezers Handpiece. Users get maximum application flexibility for soldering and reworking the widest range of surface mount components.

MX-5250 Desoldering System: Configured with the MX-DS1 Desoldering Handpiece designed for through-hold desoldering. Unit requires shop air.

MX-5251 Soldering, Desoldering & Rework System: For through-hole desoldering, general soldering and SMD rework applications. Included the Advanced Soldering Handpiece and the MX-DS1 Desoldering Handpiece. Ideal for mixed technology boards.
